Accessibility.

Our commitment

We want everyone who designs, sources, or makes products to be able to use StitchGrid, including people who rely on a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. StitchGrid is partially conformant with that standard, which means some parts of the Service do not yet fully meet it.

How we test

  • Every change to the public website is checked automatically against WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules before it ships.
  • The main pages of the signed-in app are checked the same way, with real samples and orders on the page so that tables and their controls are tested too.
  • We check keyboard navigation and visible focus by hand on the pages people use most.

Known limitations

These are the areas we know fall short today. We are working on them.

  • Images generated by AI, and photos or files that users and factories upload, may not have useful text descriptions.
  • Some Studio tools depend on a pointer, such as painting over part of an image to change it or placing and scaling a print.
  • Documents we produce from your data, such as PDF purchase orders and spreadsheet exports, have not yet been reviewed for accessibility.
  • We have not yet completed testing with screen readers such as VoiceOver, JAWS, and NVDA.

Tell us about a problem

If something on StitchGrid is hard to use, or you need information in another format, email hello@stitchgrid.com with the page and what happened. We aim to reply within five business days.
