Pre-qualified demand from
Western brands.

We send production jobs that match your capability and capacity. Standard specs, vetted brands, clean payment. No more cold tradeshow leads, no more chasing slow buyers.

Why selling abroad is hard

You're great at production. Sales is the broken part.

Tradeshow leads that go cold

You spend a quarter's margin on a booth. Half the cards never email back. The other half want a sample and disappear.

Buyers who can't commit

Curious brands who aren't ready to order, won't share quantities, and won't pay deposits. Time spent quoting that never turns into revenue.

Spec docs you have to translate

Every brand sends a different format: a Word doc, a Pinterest board, a phone photo. Your team rebuilds the tech pack before you can even quote.

Slow, fragmented payments

Wire transfers that hold for a week. Chasing invoices after shipment. Friction that makes Western buyers feel like more trouble than they're worth.

How it works for factories

One portal. Pre-qualified jobs. Standard everything.

  1. 01

    Apply and get vetted

Capability profile, capacity, certifications, references. We visit in person before you go live in the network.

  2. 02

    Receive matched jobs

Brands post production jobs. We match by category, capacity, geography, MOQ. Never by spam. You see only jobs you can win.

  3. 03

    Quote in our format

FOB, lead time, MOQ, terms. Same fields every time. No more rebuilding tech packs or translating spec docs from Word.

  4. 04

    Run the order on platform

Sample loop, revisions, milestones, photos, and payments all in one place. One factory portal, no parallel email chains.

Payment terms, on the record

Get paid on milestones. Not on chase.

Agree deposit, midpoint, and balance up front, and we hold everyone to them. The brand pays you directly on your own terms. StitchGrid keeps the schedule, the evidence, and the dates, so a late payment is a documented fact rather than an argument.

  • Terms agreed and visible to both sides before production starts
  • Each milestone tied to evidence: PP sample, bulk fabric in, TOP and BOL
  • We chase the brand when a milestone slips
  • You invoice the brand directly and are paid directly
Example milestone schedule
PO signed
Order locked
done
30% deposit
After PP sample approval
done
40% midpoint
Bulk fabric in

30% balance
TOP + BOL

Joining the network

What we look for.

We're selective on purpose. Brands trust the network because every factory has passed the same bar.

  • Audited social compliance (BSCI, WRAP, SA8000, or equivalent)
  • Documented capacity and recent production references
  • Owns or controls the production line, not a middleman
  • Open to in-person visit and team interview
  • Quotes in USD with clear FOB / EXW / DDP options
  • Can ship internationally with experienced freight partner

Factory questions

Things factories ask us.

Don't see yours? Email hello@stitchgrid.com.

Is there a cost to join?+

No. Listing is free. We earn a take rate on the brand side of orders we broker, from 10% on smaller orders down to 5% at $250k and above. The factory price you quote is the price you receive.

How exclusive is the network?+

We vet for capability and reliability, not exclusivity. There's no non-compete. You can continue working with any existing buyers however you like.

Who owns the brand relationship?+

Once we make an introduction and a brand goes to production with you, the relationship is yours. We facilitate the first PO and the workflow tools. We don't stand between you and the buyer.

What if a brand pays late?+

You invoice the brand on your normal terms and they pay you directly. StitchGrid does not sit between you and your money. If a payment runs late, tell us and we chase it: we hold the PO, the agreed milestone dates, and the evidence trail, so the conversation starts from a record you both accepted rather than from memory.

Do you accept smaller factories?+

Yes. We'll vet any factory that meets the capability bar. We're especially interested in mid-size factories with capacity for first-PO runs (MOQs 300 to 1,000), since brand demand sits there.

What categories are you looking for?+

Knit and woven apparel, cut and sew, denim, outerwear, sweats, and adjacent soft goods. If you're a fit and we don't have you yet, email hello@stitchgrid.com.
