Pricing

Pay when you place a PO.
Not before.

No subscription. No platform fee. No per-message charge. We earn a take rate on production orders we broker, invoiced at PO confirmation. If we don’t broker a deal, you don’t pay anything.

Rate card

5 to 10 percent. Scales down with size.

Take rate is a percent of the production order, invoiced at PO confirmation. Sliding scale based on order size. Larger orders pay a lower rate.

Standard

10%take rate
Up to $250K PO

Single-PO brokerage on first programs and short runs.

Most common

Volume

7%take rate
$250K to $1M PO

Mid-tier rate for established brands placing larger production orders.

Enterprise

5%take rate
$1M+ PO

Lowest rate for high-volume orders or multi-program annual contracts.

Tiers shown are typical bands. Final rate is confirmed in writing before a PO is placed. You’ll never be surprised at invoice time.

What’s included

The take rate covers all of this.

We bundle sourcing and the workflow that runs the order. No separate line items, no per-revision fees, no subscription.

  • Hand-curated factory shortlist (3 to 5 vetted options per job)
  • Tech-pack review and brokered Q&A with factories
  • Quote compilation and side-by-side comparison
  • Sample coordination across proto, fit, PP, and TOP
  • Lab dip and trim card management
  • Milestone tracking with photos at each stage
  • On-platform messaging and revision tracking
  • Brand-side payment routing through StitchGrid
  • Dispute mediation if something goes sideways
  • Country-of-origin and HS-code guidance for tariff diversification

What’s not included

What you pay separately.

These costs flow directly between you and the factory or service provider. StitchGrid doesn’t mark them up.

Sample costs

Proto, fit, PP, and TOP samples are quoted by the factory directly and invoiced to you. StitchGrid takes no margin on samples.

Production cost (FOB)

You pay the factory directly for the order itself. StitchGrid’s take rate is on top of the production cost, not bundled into it.

Freight, duty, and customs fees

Freight forwarder, customs broker, duty, MPF, HMF, and any FTA-related fees are billed directly to you by their respective providers.

Working capital / financing fees

If you use the (forthcoming) financing program, partner rates and fees are set by the lender. StitchGrid’s take rate doesn’t change.

For factories

Free to list. Always.

Joining the network is free. We don’t take a margin from the factory side of orders. The FOB quote you give the brand is the FOB you receive. Our take rate is paid by the brand, on top of production cost.

No listing fee

No setup, no monthly, no per-job.

No factory cut

Brand pays our fee separately.

Pricing questions

Things brands ask about pricing.

Don't see yours? Email hello@stitchgrid.com.

When am I invoiced?+

At PO confirmation. Once you've selected a factory, approved the quote, and signed the PO, we invoice the take rate. Payment terms are net-30.

What if I want a different rate?+

Talk to us. For very large orders, multi-program annual contracts, or brands at the upper end of our sweet spot, we'll negotiate. The 10 / 7 / 5 percent bands are typical, not absolute.

What if the order falls through?+

If a deal doesn't close, you don't pay. The take rate is contingent on a signed PO. We carry the risk on sourcing and sample coordination work that doesn't convert.

Do you take a margin on samples?+

No. Samples are quoted by the factory and invoiced directly to you. We don't mark them up.

Are payments routed through StitchGrid?+

In Phase 0, the brand pays the factory directly. StitchGrid only invoices the take rate separately. As we roll out escrow and financing, brand payments will route through the platform on milestones, with factories paid on confirmed milestones.

Is there a minimum PO size?+

Effectively yes. Our network MOQs start around 300 to 500 units, and the take-rate math only really makes sense for POs over $20K. Below that, we can still match you but we may not be the best fit.

What about ongoing reorders?+

Once we make an introduction and a brand-factory relationship is established, you can re-order without going through us. We don't take a take rate on those. The take rate covers brokering, not ongoing supply.

No mystery pricing

Pay only when we broker something worth paying for.

Post a production job and see what comes back. No commitment until you sign a PO.
