StitchGrid is a curated factory network plus the workflow to run apparel production end-to-end. We’re happy to talk on or off the record about apparel sourcing, tariff diversification, production financing, or what’s actually changing for $5M to $30M product brands.

StitchGrid is a curated apparel factory network plus the workflow that runs every production order end-to-end. Brands post what they need made; StitchGrid hand-curates a shortlist of three to five vetted factories within 48 hours, then coordinates samples, milestone payments, and quality assurance until the order ships.
Where existing sourcing platforms compete on scale with directories of hundreds of thousands of suppliers, StitchGrid competes on depth. Every factory in the network has been visited in person before brands see it. The platform is vertical on purpose: apparel-specific workflow primitives like tech-pack handling, proto-fit-PP-TOP sampling motion, lab dips, and trim cards are first-class.
StitchGrid is building a working-capital financing layer in partnership with established lenders, so brands can fund production deposits and milestone payments the moment a factory shortlist comes back. It turns what is today a months-long capital gap into a clean draw schedule.
What we can talk about
On the record, off the record, or background. We’d rather give you useful, specific reporting than buzzword soundbites.
The 2025 tariff reset pushed a generation of brands to re-route production out of China. We talk to dozens of brands about Vietnam, Bangladesh, Portugal, Mexico, India, and Turkey alternatives, and have a public landed-cost calculator that compares 9 origins.
Not the press-release version. The 500 emails, the WhatsApp threads, the missed fit samples, the deposit math, the freight surprises. We see this every week.
Why the 30 percent deposit kills programs. How working-capital partnerships could change that. Where the underwriting actually breaks down for brands without two years of order history.
Why apparel doesn’t fit a generic “make anything” sourcing agent. Where in the workflow domain depth actually matters (tech packs, fit grading, MOQs by colorway, trim sourcing).
What you learn on a factory walk that you can’t learn from a deck or a PDF audit. We’ve done this in Tiruppur, Ho Chi Minh, Bursa, Porto, Puebla, and Dhaka.
Avi Sachdev is the founder of StitchGrid. He works directly with the first cohort of brands and factories on the platform, runs production programs end-to-end, and is the right person to talk to for any story about apparel sourcing, supplier curation, or production financing.
